Continuous renal replacement therapy cassette is used in the treatment of acute renal failure, it is a part of treatment used for acute renal failure in an acute set-up. This type of dialysis achieves the extracorporeal removal of waste products such as creatinine and urea, toxins, and free water from the blood when the kidneys are in a state of acute kidney failure.
DRAINAGE BAG
A drainage bag in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is used to collect waste fluid, ultrafiltrate, and excess fluids removed from the blood during the dialysis process.
